Our History

This is a personal and rewarding business to Lisa.  As Lisa worked in the corporate world with fortune 100/500 businesses, there was always the desire to be an entrepreneurial coming from a very entrepreneurial family. She was educated with a BA in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College and a MBA from The University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business. After a hiatus to raise and support her family, she returned to the corporate world only to seek a more rewarding mission… which is Helping Hands @ Home.

Lisa was extremely close to her grandparents and spent significant time with them.  The time spent was rewarding and she is thankful. Today we live in a different world.  Many families live distances from each other. And, as our population lives longer, we have now have what has been described as the “sandwich” generation where adults are caring for aging parents and their own children as well as grandchildren.  And others have “no one.“

Helping hand wants to bridge and support that gap as well as ease the daily challenges with a positive and trusting relationship(s) for a loved one.

Lisa takes great pride in her team and compassion with the clients and their families and values this leap of trust and faith.
